Australian-Owned Growth-Focused Digital Marketing Agency

Driving Measurable Sales Growth Through Google Ads

We help businesses increase qualified leads, conversions and revenue by building performance-driven Google Ads strategies aligned with clear sales objectives.

Why Google Ads Often Fails to Drive Growth

Many businesses invest in Google Ads but struggle to see meaningful sales results. The problem is rarely the platform itself, but how it is approached.

Common issues include:

❌ No clear conversion tracking or attribution
❌ Campaigns optimised for clicks instead of revenue
❌ Budgets allocated without understanding sales impact
❌ Keywords and messaging disconnected from real buying intent

Without a clear growth framework, Google Ads becomes a cost rather than a scalable sales engine.

How We Drive Sales Growth via Google Ads

At eSharp, we don’t treat Google Ads as a technical task. We treat it as a sales growth system.

Sales-First Strategy

We start with your sales objectives, not your ad account. Campaign structures, keywords and messaging are built backwards from what actually drives revenue.

Data-Driven Decision Making

Every optimisation decision is backed by conversion data and performance insights. We focus on lead quality, conversion rates and cost per acquisition, not surface-level metrics.

Continuous Optimisation for Growth

As performance data becomes clearer, budgets are refined and scaled into what works. Growth is built progressively, not forced through short-term tactics.

What This Looks Like in Practice

Our Google Ads management includes:

Business & Competitor Analysis

Sales-driven account and campaign structure

Commercial-intent keyword research

High-converting ad copy and ongoing testing

Smart bidding and budget optimisation

Accurate conversion tracking and validation

Ongoing optimisation tied to sales outcomes

Transparent reporting with real-time dashboards

Everything we do is tied back to one question:
Is this contributing to measurable sales growth?

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel Free to contact us if you have any other questions.

Is Google ads right for my business?

Google Ads works best when there is clear search intent, a defined conversion goal, and the ability to measure outcomes meaningfully. For some businesses, it can drive scalable sales growth. For others, it may require refinement, testing, or a different approach altogether.

There isn’t a simple formula. Performance depends on factors such as industry competitiveness, conversion readiness, and commercial viability. In highly competitive markets, cost per lead can range from $50 to $300 or more, and stronger competitors can push auction prices higher. Understanding whether the economics make sense is essential before scaling investment.

For eCommerce businesses, factors like product range and repeat purchase rate also play a key role. Businesses with multiple SKUs or strong customer retention often have greater flexibility, as customer acquisition costs can be spread across multiple purchases over time.

That’s why we don’t believe in forcing Google Ads. Before scaling spend, we often recommend an initial validation phase to assess demand, competition, conversion performance, and lead quality. This allows us to give you a clear, honest view on whether Google Ads is the right growth channel for your business — and what the most sensible next step should be, based on data rather than assumptions.

What should I prepare before launching a Google ads campaign?

There are a few things that must be considered. Below is our recommended checklist.

  1. Do you have a professionally crafted and fast-loading website that aligns with your brand presence?

The website is the place your potential customers visit after they click on your ads. A high converting website will build trust, boost the audience’s confidence in your business and encourage them to do business with you. You could find more information from our blog on how to create a high converting landing page.

  1. Who is your target market? What keywords are your potential customers searching for online?
  2. Who are your competitors? How will your business and advertisement differentiate you from everyone else?
  3. What are your calls-to-action(CTA)? What kind of actions do you want the audiences to do after they visit your website? For example, do you want them to:
  • contact you by an inquiry form
  • call you
  • sign-up to your mailing list
  • request a demo
  • buy
  • come in-store
  • follow you on social media
  1. Your goal and budget. How much are you willing to pay for each enquiry? What is your monthly budget? What do you want to achieve through the Google ads campaign?

You may find it hard to answer all above questions, but they are worth it. Before anything else, preparation is the key to success. We are here to help if you need any assistance.

What are the different types of Google ads?

Google ads provide different campaigns to choose from. These are:

  • Search campaigns
  • Display campaigns
  • Video campaigns
  • Shopping campaigns
  • App campaigns
  • Local campaigns
  • Smart campaigns
  • Performance max campaigns

We will help you to select the right campaign type for your advertising needs.

How do I decide my budget?

Determining the budget may be a little trickier, however will be broken down for you. Depending on the average CPC(cost per click) and how competitive your industry is, the budget will vary. We will provide you with the average CPC of your keywords and other historical data to assist you making the decision.

If you are still not sure, it is always handy to start with a small but decent budget to test the outcome and increase the budget when the performance is stable.

We check your account daily after changing or applying a budget to analyse how your campaigns have performed and take action quickly if changes are required.

How soon can I see the result?

It takes time for Google ads to kick in. The learning phase is around 5 to 10 days. So, after the campaigns are up and running, it takes roughly about one month to see the effectiveness. We highly recommend running the Google ads for at least 3 months to see the full results. Sustainable sales growth typically requires ongoing optimisation based on conversion performance.

Do you guarantee results?

We don’t guarantee specific numbers. Instead, we focus on building a measurable, data-driven framework that gives campaigns the best chance to scale responsibly.

Can SEO replace Google Ads?

SEO is best used as a supporting strategy. For most businesses, Google Ads provides faster and more controllable growth signals.
